A custom rug design can be created in five easy steps online at Iconic Rugs plus they offer a free consultation service, working with one of Iconic Rugs’ design team, and free colour and material samples.

The process starts by guiding you towards your overall style choice – whether that’s floral or abstract (and everything in between).  You can also upload an image to begin the process.

Then you can select the shape of the rug, and colours to be included in the design.

The next step is then to decide on the material you want. Rugs can be handmade in pure wool or New Zealand wool, hand-tufted or hand-knotted, and there are three different pile heights and densities to select from.

And finally, customers can specify the rug size. Each rug is made to your specified size to make the perfect fit for your room.

The interactive design tool allows users to instantly preview their rug design and price, making tweaks to suit budget and style preferences until they’re happy with the final design. The ‘save’ feature captures the design as an image for final reference.
