PARENTS looking for last minute activities kids can enjoy in May can find hundreds via a new interactive map.
Children’s Activities Week (CAW), held between May 13-19, is the UK’s largest annual celebration of children’s activities.
Activity providers will be running activities, clubs and classes across the UK and to find out what’s happening in your area simply search via a postcode using the interactive map.
During CAW What’s On 4 Kids will team up with national charity, Caudwell Children, to bring an exciting seven days of fun and fundraising to the children’s activities sector.
Thousands of children will take part in classes all over the UK. And, as well as having fun, they will be able to support the meaningful work of Caudwell Children, a charity changing the lives of children with autism and disabilities .
Sam Willoughby, chief executive of What’s On 4 Kids and founder of Children’s Activities Week, said: “We want to encourage families all across the country to take part this year. Not only would they be supporting a great cause, but there are extraordinary benefits for children.

“And most importantly, we look forward to seeing the impact of the event in raising funds for Caudwell Children, helping the charity continue to provide life-changing assistance and opportunities”
The event is also being supported by the former X Factor champion Sam Bailey: “Without the opportunity to sing and perform as a child I wouldn’t be where I am today so to support an industry that encourages those extra-curricular activities for young children really excites me.”

Now in its 5th year and with the return of the popular #WatchMeFly theme, the annual CAW event raises vital funds for charity and shines a light on the incredible network of classes and activities taking place in every town and city across the country, delivering vital developmental skills and learning to thousands of children.
All funds raised from CAW will be donated to national charity, Caudwell Children to provide vital practical and emotional support for disabled and autistic children. The charity provides a wide range of services including autism assessments, powered wheelchairs, sensory equipment, short breaks, employment mentoring and much more.
