Great meal shame about the tea

What can be better after a good meal in the evening than a quality pot of loose leaf tea? Yet so many establishments simply serve cheap tea bags in a cup; a pot if your’e lucky. I have even been to very expensive restaurants where this has been the case and ended up paying over £2.50 for this dubious pleasure. We are on a quest to find restaurants that serve quality loose leaf tea for their customers. One such restaurant is Fishers at 36/37 St Clements, Oxford. I recently had a really good meal there and was positively thrilled to be able to order an excellent loose leaf Earl Grey tea served in a Suki teapot. Fantastic. Restaurants – let us know if you serve loose leaf tea. Customers – let us know of places where you have had loose tea at restaurants you have visited.

My only negative comment would be the price, which, when looking at East India’s website, I thought probably beyond the means of many
