Bid on our tea cosies!

We all had a great time looking at the wonderful tea cosies that had been made for our competition; the judges had the difficult task of deciding who would win from the excellent handiwork of the entrants. Decide they did, however, and now the cosies are up for auction. Make your selection by number and name, enter your bid by emailing your name, address and email address plus your bid price by 5pm on 27 March 2012. There is a reserve price of £5 on each cosy. Once we have received all bids, we will inform the highest bidder for each cosy, who can then purchase their wonderful cosy. Where we receive more than one bid at the same price we will enter all bids into the ‘secret teapot’, picking out the bid for acceptance.

Tea words

Margaret Thornby, our tea and tea room researcher, has been looking at all the words ending in ‘ty’ and conjuring up interesting tea-related themes. We used one in the past, and this has been used by others – Charitea – but there are many, many more. How about Qualitea (a tea with good character perhaps?) or Crafty (a foxy little tea!)
We’d love to hear your ideas. Tweet them – TearoomGuide or email to Margaret Thornby - (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
